Changes to how we distribute:

Providing you or somebody in your household is ill, do not come to the food distribution.

If you are high risk, do not come to the food distribution.

Please consider washing your reusable cloth and plastic bags.

I am scheduling only three people in each 20-minute time slot. We are opening earlier, however, appointments will run later than usual.

People late for appointments cannot be served.

What Helping Hand Food Pantry Is and Is Not

We are a non profit collector and distributor of food and hygiene products. Many products we receive from U.S corporations who have overstock, out of date, or discontinued items. HHFP is:
✔ A fair equitable way for goods to be distributed to qualified recipients.
✔ A budget supplement that can help reduce a person’s food cost.
✔ We are not a grocery store, home delivery service or discount service. Recipients do not pay for the products.

WE ARE NOT A FOODS SPECIFIC SERVICE.

Members can phone, 763-291-1902 and leave a voice mail or text.  E-mail us at [email protected], Sundays, Mondays or Tuesdays (no later than 10:00 p.m. Tuesday).  Texts or e-mails are preferred.

HHFP distributes Friday and Saturday mornings by appointment.  We normally open at 11 a.m. and close when the last client finishes shopping.  You can choose the day and if needed change the day each week... providing you let us know when requesting an appointment.

Appointments are usually assigned Wednesdays and you will be responded to with your appointment time either Wednesday or Thursday.

There are two membership levels.  #1 is 1x per month and no membership fee.  #2 is every week with a membership fee.  More about #2 when you fill out our application.  There is no membership sharing.

HHFP uses a rotation approach to assigning appointments to bring fairness to all our members.

You need to bring ID that matches your current address within the 55413 or 55418 zip codes.

It is always best if you bring your own bags and we encourage reusable bags.
